Some records show that she was Nancy Snowden, but most trees list her as Nancy Cherry. There are plenty of trees showing her parents as the Cherry name, but I have yet found no record of parents on the Snowden Name. I wonder if it's the same person. Maybe she was Nancy Cherry & married a Snowden & then later married Andrew Jackson Singley. If anyone has any thought on this, please let me know.
Another twist to this person is that another tombstone with same name & dates are in the Old Bethel Cemetery, here in Isney, Alabama:Find A Grave Memorial# 90884531?
After looking at the tombstones on each site, I believe it's the same, one is just cleaned up? I'm in Texas so I can't be there to be sure?

PS...Info supplied me by "Little Lady Contributor"....Old Bethel and Bethel Cemetery are the same cemeteries. And odds are she was a Cherry, married a Snowden, then a Singley. Because most people would get married, and their spouse would die. So they would marry again, since they had children to raise. It was a very common occurrence back then.
I feel the above is probably correct....Ken Hockin 01-13-2015
