MOORESVILLE -- Ernie Odell Couch, age 78 of 312 E. Gray Street, Mooresville, died Friday at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. He was born April 9, 1923 in San Frances, Arkansas, son of the late G.W. and Cora Pratt Couch. He was a veteran of the US Navy and worked for Burlington Mills
Survivors include wife, Mildred Lee Couch; sons, Ernie Mike Couch and wife Terri of Charlotte and Johnny Douglas Couch and wife Patty of Kannapolis; daughters, Linda Beam of Mooresville and Sherry Crowell and husband John Tybee Island, Georgia; sister, Vergie Reese of Shelby; half-brother, James L. Brown of Florida; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness with Gerald Ferguson in charge. Burial will be in Glenwood Memorial park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Arthritis Foundation of Carolinas, 5019 Nations Ford Road, Charlotte, NC. Neill Funeral Home is serving the Couch family.
