Concé was survived by his wife of 66 years, Porfie of Cuarteles; sons: Jake E. (wife Gloria) of Cuarteles, Bobby M. (wife Lucy) of Albuquerque, Concé J. (wife Shirley) of Cuarteles, and Benny R. (wife Arlene) all of Chimayó; daughters: Theresa Ortiz (husband Wray) of La Mesilla, Cyndee and Julie Fresquez of Cuarteles; Leoma Esquibel and Deborah Borrego who were like daughters to him; 17 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Concé served during World War II with the 4th Combat Engineer Battalion. He received 2 Bronze Stars and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. He retired from Santa Fe County in 1983 where he was a Santa Fe county roads supervisor. Concé enjoyed camping, hunting, spending time with his family and tending to his chile roasting business.
