OBITUARY - 3/1/1882, Radical - Arthur Brisbane, age 7, only son of Alex Brisbane, died of scarlet fever Thursday last. The disease seems to have spread considerably in this neighborhood. Quite a number of cases have been reported, and all are of a serious nature.
Waseca Radical of 2/24/1882 said there were three burials at Wilton on the 24th of Feb.: a child of Alex Brisbane, a child of J.A. Root (both of scarlet fever) and Reese Nelson, a child of diptheria.
