Mrs. Anna A. Buford, 2517 C, resident of Lawton since 1942, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in a local hospital. She had suffered from a heart ailment for the past three years.
Born Feb. 6, 1895 at Crowell, Tex., she was married May 22, 1910 to Walter Buford at Rush Springs, where she lived most of her life. She also made her home in Hulen Community for about 10 years. She was a member of the Cameron Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, two sons, Elmo, Burkburnett, Tex., and William D., Lawton; two daughters, Mrs. Wayne Sherrill, Elgin, and Miss Stella Mae Buford, home address; one sister, Mrs. Mildred Penn, San Luis Obispo, Calif.; one brother, Albert Blunt, Mesa, Ariz., and two grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Becker Funeral home.
