Beatrice was survived by her sons: Celerino Archuleta and friend Tille Lopez of Albuquerque, Peter Archuleta (wife Pearl) of El Rito, Hilbert Archuleta (wife Lucinda) and Fred Archuleta (wife Jeanette) of Española; daughters: Marie Lopez of Salt Lake City, Utah; Gladys Archuleta (companion John McMullen) of Oceanside, California; Marilyn Baca (husband Victor J.) of Albuquerque, Isadora Archuleta (companion Steve Archuleta) of El Rito; son-in-law Louie Martinez of Abiquiu; god-daughters: Mary Valdez of Velarde and Bennie Lucero of Albuquerque; god-sons: Martin Suazo of Rio Rancho, Dominic Martinez of Corrales Harold Archuleta of Española; 17 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-laws: Eppie and Renee Archuleta of Medanales; she was also survived by many family and friends.
By being a good role model, Beatrice encouraged her children to live their life to the fullest as she had lived hers. Beatrice's religious character was notable by her praying the Rosary daily. She was an amazing woman and left a legacy of happy charitable memories, her family and friends were grateful.
Public visitation and Rosary were on February 21, 2011 in the Sangre de Cristo Chapel at DeVargas Funeral Home & Crematory. Mass of Christian burial was on February 22, 2011 at San Juan Nepomuceno Catholic Church in El Rito. Burial followed at El Rito Community Cemetery. Pallbearers: Dominic Martinez, Peter Archuleta, Glenn Archuleta, Victor L. Baca, Francisco Archuleta and Alex Ortega. Honorary pallbearers: Louie Martinez, Steve Archuleta, Victor J. Baca, John McMullen and George Archuleta and all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
