Gettysburg Compiler May 10, 1905

Mrs. Julian McSherry died at Gettysburg May 3 and she was brought to the home of her son John McSherry at Fairfield Station on Thursday May 4. Funeral services were held at Fairfield in the Catholic church to which she belonged for many years on Friday the 5, at 8:30 conducted by Father McDermit from Waynesboro, Franklin Co., after which her body was interred in the new Catholic cemetery at Fairfield. Deceased was aged about 67 years. She is survived by her husband James McSherry at Fairfield Station and the following brothers and sisters; John Andrew and Peter Andrew at Quincy, Illinois, Mary Woodring of Iron Springs, Pa., Margaret Bingbam who resides at Oregon, Josephine Noel who resides at Highfield, also by the following children; Lizzie O. Caroll who resides at New York City, Emma Bierly who resides at Highfield, Wm McSherry who resides at the same place and John McSherry who resides at Fairfield Station. The pall bearers were Robert McCleaf, Samuel Walter, Joel Musselman and Emanuel King.
