Della Westwood Allen, age 60, of Craig, Colorado, died July 22, 1996, at her home in Craig.
She was born November 26, 1935 in Benjamin, Utah, a daughter of Edmund and Della Hansen. Della's mother passed away at childbirth and Della was raised by her older sister, Madge Clayson. She married Edwin (Bud) Lamont Westwood on May 2, 1959. He died July 16, 1979. She later married Alvin Austin Allen. Della enjoyed sewing, camping and the out-of-doors. Della was a former resident of Vernal.
Della was preceded in death by her husband; and a son, Clifford Westwood.
She is survived by her children, Delbert (and Wilma) Calkins, Magna; (Ed and) Cindy Sidwell, Rock Springs, Wyo.; (Bruce and) Christy Sidwell, Draper, Utah; (Johnny and) Tony Sidwell, Vernal; Dean (and Lisa) Dimick, Craig, Colo.; six grandchildren, Jessica Sidwell, Amber Sidwell, Shante' Sidwell, Amanda Sidwell, Jamie Dimick, and Kelsie Dimick.
Funeral services will be Friday, July 26, 1996, 11 a.m., in the Glines Third Ward Chapel. Friends may call Thursday evening 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday morning 9:30 -10:30 a.m. at Thomson's Vernal Mortuary. Burial, Vernal Memorial Park.
