Joe Weaver Tubbs, 60, of 1302 S. 117th St., died Monday in a local hospital.
He was born in Kansas and had lived in the Tacoma area for 58 years.
Mr. Tubbs was a Mill worker for the Puget Sound Manufacturing Co., and was a member of the Millmens Union, Local 1689.
Survivors included his wife, Nancy J., of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Marilyn Vincent, of Tacoma; four sisters, Mrs. Lucie Anderson, of Tacoma, Mrs. Lillie Cunningham of Lacey, Mrs. Nettie Braack, of Elma, and Mrs. Irene Minor, of Olympia; and five grandchildren.
Services will be announced by Mountain View Funeral Home.
