James Anthony Peck of Oklahoma City died Tuesday May 27, 1986 in a local hospital. He was born July 3, 1914 in Lima Ohio, was a graduate of Seminole High School and Seminole Junior College.
Former employee of Carter Oil Company. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and a 32nd degree Mason. He was the president and owner of American Electric Ingnition in Tulsa, Oklahoma City and Amarillo Texas.
A member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church, he is survived by his wife Marcella, daughter Carolyn Peck of Stillwater, son Don Peck and grandson Jimmy Peck both of Oklahoma City, sister Betty Wilson of Altamont Illinois, and 2 nephews. Services will be held Thursday May 29 at 2pm in the Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper Chapel with interement at Rose Hill. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Services will be officiated by Dr William R Henry of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
