My blond, blue-eyed uncle, whom I never got to meet. He was hit by a drunk driver and died days later with my grandmother by his side. He had massive injuries and did not regain consciousness.
He was multi-talented, athletic, popular, and my grandmother used to say that with his personality, he would either be the world's most notorious criminal or its greatest hero.
I am thinking "hero," as that is how his older brother, my dad, turned out.
Meet you in Heaven, Uncle Babe.

He is buried next to his grandfather, Francis "Frank" Willard Locke, and his grandmother, Huldah Reginia (Gruebel) Locke Jacobs.
