MRS. PETER BAHNSEN - OXFORD JUNCTION
Mrs. Peter Bahnsen Sr. 70, died Sunday, March 8, at her farm home northeast of Oxford Junction, Services were held in the Wallace Funeral Home, Wyoming, on Tuesday, March 10, with Rev. E.D. Farwell, Andrew Lutheran minister, officiating. Burial was in the Wyoming cemetery.
M. Louise Bahnsen was born on January 20, 1889, daughter of August and Marguerite Kettelsen Eggert, in Germany. She was united in marriage to Peter Bahnsen on Nov. 13, 1907, in Center Junction, Iowa. They farmed for 22 years near Hayfield, Minn., and since then have farmed in the Wyoming and Oxford Junction communities.
Survivors are her husband, five daughters and one son: Mrs. Burdette (Matie) Miller, Andrew; Mrs. Fred (Elsie) Buchholtz, Wyoming; Mrs. Vince (Wilma) Lasack, Oxford Junction; Mrs. Otto (Laura) Hansen, Monmouth; Mrs. Glenn (LaVonne) Miller, Andrew and Peter Bahnsen, Oxford Junction.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Ida Eggert.
Music was furnished by Walter Sullivan, soloist, accompanied at the organ by his wife. Pallbearers were Art Becker Jr., Harvey Huffman, Raymond Mulvhill, Ralph Propst, Earl Logan and Henry Becker.
