---Steven Jay Ebert, 26, of Kirksville, passed away unexpectedly at his home Monday evening (November 12, 1990).
---Born December 2, 1963 in Denver, Colorado, he was the son of James Ebert of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Ethel Garnett Bowen of Clark, Missouri.
---He is survived by his parents; two brothers, James A. Ebert of Germany and Rob L. Ebert of North Carolina; his grandmother, Fern Garnett of Atlanta; his grandparents, Clifford and Irene Ebert of Kirksville; one niece, Kamelle, and one nephew, Clayton.
---Steven was a graduate of Kirksville High school and had worked the past eleven years at Country Kitchens in Columbia and in Kirksville where he was employed at the time of his death. He was a member of the LaPlata Baptist Church.
---Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday (November 16, 1990) at the Travis Funeral Chapel in LaPlata. The Rev. Herb Clinton will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Mt. Tabor Cemetery east of Atlanta.
