Gerald Clifton Hyde, 83 of Paragould died Wednesday at his residence.
Gerald was a woodcutter known as "The Wood Man". He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira "Boss" and Selma Ellington Hyde; brothers, Roy, Cotton, Billy and Harold Hyde.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Hyde of the home; sons, Jerry Hyde of Paragould and Brian Hyde of Austin, TX; daughters, Geraldine Kennedy and Connie Darbyshire both of Bakersville, CA, Kim Yank of Dallas, TX, Tammy Koopman of Manhattan, KS and Summer Hyde of NY, NY; brother, Frankie Hyde of Paragould. 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Pine Knot cemetery with Revs Marion and Nathan Gramling officiating.
Memorials may be sent to St. Bernard's Hospice.
