Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Haddam Monday morning for Mrs. Blanche Arbuthnot, who died at St. Joseph's hospital in Concordia, July 16. The Rev. J. Holland Vernon officiated and Eastern Star services were conducted at Haddam cemetery. Mrs. Arbuthnot, 63, is survived by her husband, Earl of Morrowville; two daughters, Mabel Marie Carpenter of Stockton, Cal., Mary Louise Nevins of Monument, Colo.; two sons, Robert Arbuthnot of Haddam, Warren Arbuthnot of Halsey, Neb.; her mother, Mrs. Carrie Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two sisters, Ethel Fitzmorris of Colorade Springs and Laurene Hollingsworth of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Don Sheesley of Onawa, Ia.
