Burial was in Mount Rose Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.
Mr. Pace died Friday at Caldwell Hospital after a long illness.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mary Lou Pace of Grayson; five daughters, Mrs. Helen Cooper of Columbia, Mrs. Betty Bratton of Grayson, Mrs. Bernice Clark of Ruston, Mrs. Ellen Smith of Monroe and Mrs. Blanche Smith of Greenville, Miss.; two sons, M. T. Pace Jr. of Shreveport and Ray Pace of Columbia; four sisters, Mrs. Roberta Hodges and Mrs. Rachel Kinnison, both of Grayson, Mrs. Clyda Hammonds of Mobile, Ala. and Mrs. Thomas Watson of Burlington, Iowa; 26 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The grandsons served as pallbearers.
