LAURA JEAN DODGE PEBBLES--81:
went to be with the Lord on Tuesday [1-30]. She passed away at Park Haven Nursing Home-Ashtabula OH. Born 3 Jun 1925, she was a dau of Bernie & Mary Ellen Dodge & wed Jack Pebbles on 12 Oct 1946 in Painesville. She had been employed with Industrial Rayon-Painesville & Meola's Catering-Ashtabula, but her child care business was her true passion, which she operated out of her home for more than 20yrs. Strong in her faith, Laura attended the First Assembly of God in Conneaut. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles & spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband-Jack Pebbles; children: Rosemary Fanning, Dana Pebbles; 5 grandchildren & 3 gr-grandchildren [all named]. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernie & Mary Ellen Dodge; & 3 bros: Gordon, Guernard & Lavere.
Funeral service will be Friday morning [2-07] at Childs & Williams Funrl Home-Ashtabula. RevDonald Matthews, a long-time friend, & RevAndy Warren of First Assembly of God-Conneaut, will officiate. Burial will take place at Hayes Cem-Wayne OH. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Park Haven Nursing Home-AshtabulaOH or First Assembly of God-Conneaut OH.
