BIRNEY B DODGE--73: died early this morn-ing [1-24] in his Wayne home. He was born 26 Feb 1884 in Wayne, son of Albert&Phoebe Mi-ner Dodge; was a life-long resident of Wayne. MrDodge had been employed for 46 years as a section foreman with the NYCentral RR; he re-tired from active service in 1949. He was a 58 year member of Wayne Congregational Church & also belonged to Lindenville Grange & North-east Ohio Protective Assn. On 10 Sep 1910, MrDodge married the former MaryEllen Hall who survives him at home.
Besides his wife, he is survived by 4 children: BirneyL-Warren; GordonM-Wayne; GuernardH-Vernon; Laura Peebles-Wayne; a bro: Edward-Ashtabula; 8 grandchildren & 1 gr grandchild. A bro & sis preceded him in death.
Service will be held Monday afternoon [1-27] in Baumgardner Funeral Home-Andover. Rev Homer Hurst will officiate. Burial will be in Hayes Cem-Wayne.
