HENDEE—In Eureka, May 20, 1891, John Jackson Hendee, a native of Vermont, aged 73 years.
JOHN J. HENDEE. At 9 o'clock yesterday morning, John Jackson Hendee, an old resident of this county, and an ex-Union soldier, died at the residence of Rev. R. D. Clark in this city. Mr. Hendee had been in failing health for some time and his death was not entirely unexpected. He was a native of Vermont, aged about 73 years, and leaves a wife and two daughter, Mrs. S. T. Kelsey and Mrs. R. D. Clark, surviving him. A brother of the deceased, Mr. C. H, Hendee, also resides in this county at Fortuna.
