Carlos Eskel Allred, age 85 of Jasper, died Saturday, Nov. 19, 2005, at the Walker Baptist Medical Center in Jasper. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2005, in the Collins- Burke Chapel with burial in the Walker Memory Gardens. George Barrera will officiate. Collins-Burke Funeral Home in Jasper will direct. Visitation will be held from 6 until 9 p.m. today, Nov. 20, at the funeral home.
Mr. Allred was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Vicki Lynn Drummond.
He is survived by his wife, Carlon Allred; daughters, Shirley Drummond (Lacy), Charlotte Aaron (Glenn) and Annette Burton (Ronnie); son, Carlos Allred Jr. (Suzanne); sisters, Addie Knowles, Trannie Lou McGowen, Reba Grace, Gwen Mays and Margaret Smothers; brother, O'Neil Allred; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Scott Drummond, Randy Allred, Matt Burton, Keith McLemore, Eugene Allred, Terry Allred and Ricky Allred.
