On February 25 1863 Jane married James Bartlett Wales in Hamilton, Ontario.
Jane & James farmed on Lot 8 Con. 19 Peel Township, containing 172 acres. They were active in the community and St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Arthur.
Jane died April 8, 1910 and is buried at Greenfield Cemetery on the next lot to their farm near Arthur, Ontario, Canada.
