Married in Preble Co. OH in 12/26/1809 to John Nelson b. 1785 in New Jersey d. 1858 Union Co. IN. Per another contributor: Justice of the Peace, Ebenezer Elliott, solemnized the marriage between Nancy and John.
(Per the Preble county,Ohio marriage record.)

Both are buried at Witts Cemetery

Nancy's parents were Philip Lybrook & Anna Miller
John's parents were Joseph & Mary Nelson

Niece, Maria Lybrook Hart says:"Nancy gave land for Hanna's Creek Church"
(Church records say he was on the committee)
John died after his wife
1830 Census states there was a probable son who was older than William

Witts cemetery - on Everett Little's Farm
Indiana 44 East about 1/2 mile turn left (north) on Kitchell Road. Go north 2 miles then turn right(east) 1 1/2 miles where it turns back left (north). Witt cemetery is somewhere on the right side of the road. Abandoned. Section 28 Range 1 Township 12 Harrison Township. Cannot be found without assistance and most of the stones are illegible. The cemetery survey 1981-1982 does not include this cemetery
