"Philip Lybrok, grandfather of Baltzer Lybrook, was of German descent and was born on board of the steamer, September 23, 1857 (believed to be a misprint) while the parents were crossing the ocean, en route to America. Anna Miller who subsequently became the wife of Philip Lybrook, was a native of Virginia, born October 28, 1765. This couple became the parents of a large family of children, all of whom were born in the State of Virginia, and numbered thirteen at the time of the removal of the family to what is now this county, some time during the year 1807..."
