Millie Gray Barnes age 86 of Guin, AL died Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the Brookwood Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.

Born in Lamar County, AL she is the Daughter of the late George Jefferson and Idella Sorralls Brown and the Wife of the late James Paul Barnes. She had lived in Guin most of her life and had worked as a LPN at Sunset Manor Nursing Home in Guin. She was a member of the Living Church Of God.

She is survived by 4 Sons, Jeffery Paul (Mary Ann) Barnes, James Craig (Vickie) Barnes, Mark Alan Barnes, and Gregory Kent (Jackie) Barnes all of Guin, AL, 12 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren, A Host of Nieces and Nephews, A Sister In Law, Loretta Barnes Simkin of LA and Brother In Law, Larry Macky Barnes of LA.

She was also preceded in death by her Step Mother, May King Brown, 5 Sisters and 4 Brothers.

Services held Monday, May 9, 2011 at 2:00 pm from the Norwood Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Sizemore Memorial Cemetery. Elder Evo Walker officiating.
