Ms. Annie Lou Myers, age 92, of Detroit, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Union Ridge Freewill Baptist Church, where the body will lie-in-state at the church from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 2:00 P.M. with burial to follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Bro. Randy Wright and Bro. Dale Ford will be officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Active pallbearers will be: David Smith, Danny Smith, Timothy Cooper, Michael Nash, Barry Nash, Ryan Anthony, Brandon Smith and Wayne Myers. Honorary pallbearers will be: Justin Cooper, Derrick Cooper, Jason Nash, Jake Vintson, Josh Vintson and Brad Thomas. Ms. Myers was born July 1, 1918 in Lamar County, Alabama to the late George Jefferson and Idella Sorrells Brown. She was a member of Union Ridge Freewill Baptist Church. Ms. Myers previously worked at McCoy Mfg., Detroit Slacks and Distribution Center and Reltoc. She enjoyed quilting. SURVIVORS: Son: Daniel R.
