Patrick "Pat" Gene Adams, 62, of Hot Springs, AR, went to be with his Lord on Friday, May 6, 2011 after a very courageous battle with Lymphoma Cancer.

He was born June 21, 1948 in Searcy, Arkansas to James Adams and Jean Root Adams. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Pat had worked for Entergy and farmed as a young man, but his passion was truck driving. He started his own trucking company. He so enjoyed the company of family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, daughter and son-in-law, two sons and daughters-in-law, father, three brothers, five grandchildren, father-in-law and mother-in-law, and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

He was a member of Sulpher Springs Missionary Baptist Church and a graduate of Lakeside High School.

Pat so loved the company of family and friends and cooking for them. He enjoyed gardening and home projects.

Pallbearers were Neil Adams, Rodney Adams, David Adams, Gary Jones, Ric Childers and Larry Schnebly.

Honorary pallbearers were Mack and Ann Harris, Kroger 619, J.M. Bozeman, Mark Kindy, Dr. Robert Muldoon, Dr. Patrick Dolan, Dr. James Gardner, Genesis Cancer Center, St. Joseph 4 West nurses, Marcia Bauer and Lou Ford.

Funeral was Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Darryle Sultan and Bro. Billy Gene Watson officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to Lymphoma Research Foundation.
