Albany - Elizabeth M. Turner, 85, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2003 at Albany Medical Center Hospital. Boarn in Syracuse, Betty was the daughter of the late Charles and Eleanor Carty. She was the wife of the late Howard R. Turner. Betty was predeceased by her two brothers Charles and Marlin Carty, and her sister, Eleanor Devoe. Betty is survived by her son, Terry M. Turner and his wife Susanne of Glenville, Eleanor E. Poskanzer and her husband Charles of Albany; her grandchildren, Sarah Fuller, Richard Poskanzer, David Turner, Melanie Turner, Heather Turner and Michael Turner. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Call hours will be held on Friday, August 8, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Avenue). Funeral services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Elizabeth M. Turner.
