Mary was the daughter of Carl Johan Fredricka Westphal and Juliana Maria Sophia Bierman. She married Ernst Glen Kopka April 14, 1890. She and Ernst were the parents of 3 children-Ida(1890), Robert(1892) and John(1894). She died at age 22 only 2 weeks after John's birth. Ida died at age 6. Ernst later remarried.(Mary Malchow)
