BAILEY
Funeral services for Jack C. Bailey, 77, will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Fine officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.
Mr. Bailey died Saturday in his home at 502 S. Olive St.
He was born Nov. 13, 1912 in Maypearl, Texas. He attended school in Burkburnett, Texas.
In 1938, he came to Carlsbad from Altus, Okla. He was employed as a superintendent at IMC Fertilizer Inc. before retirement.
He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a former member of the Toastmaster Club.
He is survived by two sons, Charles Bailey, Oklahoma City, and Gary Bailey, Baytown, Texas; two daughters, Sonja Spencer, Denver, Colo., and Elaine Bailey, Grants, N.M.; one sister, Mae Elms, Carlsbad; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Joe Jordan, Jerry Barton, R.C. Hand, B.F. Hand, Bill Harrison and Hulen Ledbetter.
