ARRINGTON
Service is pending at Denton Funeral Home for Mary E. Arrington, 76, 913 N. Thomas St., who died today at her home.
Born July 28, 1912 in Shark (Yell County) Ark., she attended school there, coming to Carlsbad at age 18. She and Claude Arrington were married in Hagerman on Dec. 28, 1931. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. She worked for Grace Oil Co. in the 1970s, and for Mrs. Hillsman until 1981.
Survivors include two daughters, Claudine (Mrs. Jim) Walls and Ann (Mrs. Sammy) Clarke, both of Carlsbad; a brother, Floyd Neeley, Carlsbad; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday in the Denton Funeral Chapel for Mary Elizabeth Arrington of Carlsbad. She was 76.
Arrington died Tuesday at her home, 913 N. Thomas St.
The Rev. Gary Watkins of the First Assembly of God Church is to conduct Thursday's service.
Burial is to be in Sunset Gardens Memorial Park.
Pallbearers are to be Brad Dugas, Jimmy Walls, Pat Neeley, Charlie Jones, Jim Evans and B.C. Norrid.
