Laura Mary Ducote Bordelon, a homemaker, died Thursday at Maison Orleans Nursing Home. She was 100. Mrs. Bordelon was born in Hessmer and lived in St. Bernard Parish for the past 35 years. Survivors include four sons, Ernest, Harvey and Jessie Bordelon and Cilton Bordelon Jr.; three daughters, Lillie Bourgoyne, Ola Deshotel and Doris Bass; a brother, Klien Ducote; two sisters, Della Ducote and Evelyn Scallan; 31 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held today at 1:30 p.m. at Professional Funeral Services of Arabi, 7701 St. Bernard Highway. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.
