Kay Francis Townsend, 66, of Miller's Merry Manor, Wabash, formerly of Peru, passed away at 8:25 am, Saturday, February 13, 2010 at her residence. She was born on February 8, 1944 in Miami County to William D. and Esther (See) Townsend.
Kay was formerly employed at ARC in Wabash and Gateway Training Center in Peru, Indiana. She never married. She enjoyed art/coloring.
Survivors include three sisters: Mary Cundiff, Converse, Esther Russell of Macy, and B. Sue Hughes and husband John, Arizonia City, Arizonia.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers (George A and Howard Edward "Eddie" Townsend) and by two sisters (Maxine and Jane Ann).
Funeral Services were held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Flowers-Leedy Funeral home in Peru, Indiana with Pastor Tim Practor officiating.
She was Buried at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Peru, Indiana.
