Former Resident Dies in Selma
Mrs. J. Chosmer Bryant formerly
of Calhoun , died February 28th
in an Alabama hospital after
several years of declining health.
Mrs. Bryant was the former
Bessie Hilley, daughter of the
late Liza Roberts and Bob
Hilley.
Mr. and Mrs. Bryant had
made their home in Selma for
many years. Mr. Bryant is a
retired Southern Railway employee.
She is survived by three
daughters, Mrs. Doris Matherne,
Gonzales, La. Mrs. Irene
Paisley, Tyler, Ala.and Mrs.
Barbera Hart, Selma: two sons.
Robert Bryant. California and
Leon Bryant, Selma.Five grand-
children, three great grandchildren,
all of Alabama and California;
one brother-in-law, four
sisters -in-law, and several nieces
and nephews of Calhoun.
Funeral services and burial
were held in Selma on Friday
March 1.
