According to the Evanston City Cemetery records: burial date 9-30-1975; aged 63. Record shows two plots for Eldon 1-00-282-04 and 1-00-281-04.

Father is Ezra Savannah Putnam (146535) and mother is Betsey Jane Longhurst Putnam (146536). Wife is Olive Delores Mills Putnam (69364262). The following is a brief history taken from the book "The First 100 Years in Woodruff".

Elden Putnam, son of Savannah Ezra Putnam and Besey Jane Longhurst Putnam, was born September 9, 1912, at Woodruff, Rich County, Utah. He was baptized October 3, 1920. Elden went to school in Woodruff and Randolph. He loved sports very much and played basketball and entered the track meets of Rich County. He loved to hunt and fish and work with his father. He owned a part of the Ezra Putnam ranch and some land in the Cut-off.

He married Olive Delores Mills, daughter of James Mills, Jr. and Lizzie Dell Frazier Mills on May 23, 1932 in Coalville, Summit County, Utah. On December 6, 1940, they and six of their children were sealed together in the Salt Lake Temple. They are the parents of nine children: Marion Coleen, Elden DeVerl, Glenna Dell, Sally Ann, Elda Mae, Barbara Delores, Blaine Mills and Danny Lee.

The couple moved to Evanston, Wyoming from Woodruff in 1942. While living in Evanston, Elden worked in the timber and at Utah Sand and Gravel and the water department for the City of Evanston while continuing to run his ranch and cattle in Woodruff. Elden passed away September 27, 1975.
