James Clay Ford, 82, died Monday, April 25, 2005 at Candler Hospital.
Mr. Ford was born in Springfield, GA., and lived in Savannah, GA. most of his life. Mr. Ford formerly worked for the Savannah Morning News and Evening Press for approximately twenty years. He was the former owner of a Cocktail Lounge on Pennsylvania Ave in Savannah, which he sold about eight years ago and retired to travel.
Mr. Ford served in the U.S. during World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife Janette Hall Ford and a son, Patrick Clay Ford Sr.
