William (Guglielmo) was born in Sinagra, Messina Province, Sicilia. He was raised by adoptive parents Michelangelo Fasolo and Angela Caruso in the town of Sant'Angelo di Brolo. He immigrated to the USA 20 Dec 1906 aboard the SS Konig Albert at the age of 16 and went to central PA. He was called back to Sicily to serve 2 years in the military. He returned to the USA 14 Mar 1914 aboard the SS Santa Anna. He worked in the brick yard in Centre Co., PA. He became a naturalized citizen 15 Jun 1925.
