Published in the Highland Democrat March 31, 1923:
Mary, wife of Jonathan Currey, died in New York on Saturday last. She had been ill in her apartments at the Park Avenue, for about ten days.
Mrs. Currey was the only daughter of Col. Henry C. Moore, of St. Louis, Mo., and was married to Mr. Currey, twenty-five years ago.
With her husband she spent the summers at Mohegan Lake, and the winters in New York.
Besides her husband she leaves one brother, Philip.
Funeral services were held at the Church of the Incarnation, Madison Avenue and Thirty-Fifth Street, on Monday, the Rev. H. Percy Silver, D. D., officiating. The remains were brought to Peekskill the same day and interred at Hillside Cemetery.
