PENLAND - Carl W. Penland, age 63, of 220 Elmwood NE, passed away Friday evening. He is survived by his wife, Wilma E.; two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Carol) Snell and Mrs. William (Janet) Wisz, both of Grand Rapids; nine grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Stella Miller of Battle Creek, Mrs. Leonard (Mary) Leroux of Nunica and Mrs. Jess (Verda) Hoskins of Wyoming.
Mr. Penland will repose at the VanStrein-Alman Mortuary, 1833 Plainfield NE where funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Norwood K. Reck of Bethel Reformed Church officiating. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. The family will be at the mortuary from 1-9 Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 Sunday.
