PENLAND - Mrs. Wilma E. Penland, aged 71, of 7920 Fitzsimmons Ct., SE, Alto, formerly of 220 Elmwood St., NE, the widow of Carl W. Penland, passed away Wednesday September 21, 1977 at Butterworth Hospital. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. William (Janet) Wisz of Alto and Mrs. Carol Snell of Grand Rapids, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Lucille) Rudolph of Ionia and Mrs. Sidney (Francis) Tingley of Orleans; four brothers, Morris, Richard, Kenneth and Floyd Dunn, all of Ionia.
Services will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at the funeral chapel with Rev. John Hains of Bethel Reformed Church officiating. Interment will follow in Rosedale Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet her family at the chapel from 7 to 9 on Thursday and Friday evening. Mrs. Penland reposes at the Reyers North Valley Funeral Chapel, 2815 Fuller NE at Three Mile Rd.
