ALFRED NEELY ADKINS, 70, of Huntington passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2003, in Heritage Center, Huntington. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, retired line supervisor with Bell Atlantic Telephone Co. and member of the Telephone Pioneers of America. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in Crook Cemetery, Huntington, with the Rev. Ray Vance officiating. Burial will follow. He was born Oct. 21, 1932, in Huntington, a son of the late Arden K. and Hettie Adkins Adkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wilson Van Adkins Sr.; a daughter, Pamela G. Adkins; and two sons, Stanley B. Adkins and David L. Adkins. Survivors include three sons, Gregory S. Adkins of Fredericksburg, Va., and Jonathan B. Adkins and Douglas A. Adkins, both of Huntington; and two grandchildren
