Webb Gauntt, 81, of Baxter died Tuesday at 5:30 a.m. at Henderson County Memorial Hospital. Services are pending at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.
Mr. Gauntt was a retired farmer and a member of the Leagueville Baptist Church. He had lived in the Baxter community since 1946.
Surviving are one son, Jasper Gauntt of Noble, LA.; one daughter, Mrs. Edith Blood of Baxter and one sister, Mrs. Audrey Echols of Louisiana.
