Fayetteville, Tenn.
Mrs. Jennie Ruth Johnson Warden, 86, died at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ottis Cunningham, near Fayetteville, where she resided for the past three years.
Mrs. Warden had been in failing health since the death of her husband, William James Warden, four years ago.
She was the daughter of the late Angus Donald and Elizabeth Alexander Johnson, and was a member of the Primitive Baptist church.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Cunningham; one son, Bryant Warden, of Lincoln County; one brother; A. B. Johnson of Nashville; three grandchildren, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. today from the Higgins funeral home, with Elder R. A. Largen officiating. Interment followed in the Rose Hill cemetery.
