OBITUARY OF BERNITA CARTER

MOUNT PLEASANT / EAST CARBON -- Bernita Everts CARTER, age 76, died June 06, 1999, at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center of congestive heart failure.

She was born November 26, 1922, a daughter of Leonard and Millie EVERTS. She married James Clair CARTER July 08, 1940.

Bernita was an avid arrow head hunter and fisherman. She was a good artist and loved to spend time at her cabin in Joes Valley.

She is survived by her loving husband, Clair; children, Sylvia (Cody) LEEK of West Valley; Steven (Maggie) CARTER of Seattle; Loralie CARTER of West Valley; sisters, twin sister, Moneta CARTER of Price, Marceil DRAKE, Joan VARAH and Millie PLUTE all of Mount Pleasant; brother, George EVERTS of Mount Pleasant; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Adolph; sisters, Bernice and Laverne.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 10, 1999 at 11:00 a.m. in the Mount Pleasant Stake Center (295 South State Street). A viewing will be held on Thursday morning from 9:30-10:30 at Ursenbach Funeral Home(96 North 100 West) prior to the Services. Interment will be in the Mount Pleasant City Cemetery.
