Denver Collins, 59, of Lexington, Indiana, died Sunday, May 1, 2011 at his residence.

He was born on May 13, 1951 in Hyden, Kentucky, the son of the late Henry and Sadie (Barger) Collins.

Denver was owner and operator of the old D.C. Logging Company in Lexington, Indiana and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene (Barger) Collins; two daughters, Yvone Collins and Taitianiahia G. Collins both of Lexington, Indiana and several brothers, sisters, nieces & nephews.

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm on Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home with burial in Lexington Cemetery. Visitation: 11 am to 1 pm Wednesday at Collins Funeral Home.
