Graveside services for Jean Ashley, 74, of Opelika will be 11:00 AM, Monday, April 25, 2005 at Garden Hills Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Teel officiating.
Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm, Sunday evening at Fredericks Funeral Home.
Mrs. Ashley, who was born February 14, 1931 in Bloomington Springs, TN to the late Van and Ethel Biggs Stafford, died April 21, 2005. She has been a resident of Lee County since 1961 where she enjoyed flowers, music and most of all her beloved grandsons.
Survivors include her twin daughters, Peggy Ashley Bell and Paula Ashley (George) Nutter of Opelika; two grandsons, Skylar Bell and Justin Nutter both of Opelika; two sisters, Rhoda Williams, Lucille Stanley; four brothers Freeman Stafford, P. J. Stafford, Ronnie Stafford, Woody Stafford all of the Nashville, TN area along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
