NOBLE, HAROLD "SHAG"
Died 9 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 1992, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 61, a native of Morgan County, Ala., a resident of Walker and a resident of Louisiana 56 years. He was a retired business agent for Althers Local 449 and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Visiting at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, 10 a.m. until religious services at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. James Curtis. Burial in Beechridge Cemetery. Survived by wife, Winona Jean Ward Noble, Walker; four daughters, Kathi Noble and Cindy Lee, both of Denham Springs, Cheryl Givens, Dauphin Island, Ala., and Mona Lisa Nalepa, East St. Louis, Ill.; three sisters, Elizabeth Stewart and Faye Ashley, both of Denham Springs, and Minnie Creel , Walker; a brother, Sam Noble, Denham Springs; 10 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, including three special nieces, Jerri Gisclair, Lafayette, Bonnie Hodges, Walker, and Deanna Nichols, Baton Rouge; great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by parents, W.L. and Myrtle Noble; two brothers, Walter and William Noble; and a sister, Christine Nichols. Pallbearers will be nephews. He was a member of Christian Center Church, Denham Springs.
