FILLMORE: Oleve Bosworth Robison Ashurst, 84 passed away at her home 28 May, 2002, from complications following a stroke.
She was born in Preston, Idaho, to Brigham and Myrtle Catherine Morgan Bosworth on 21 July, 1917. She was raised near Oxford,
Idaho, and attended high school at Kaysville and Delta, Utah. She graduated from the University of Utah with her degree in Education. She married Hal Robison (deceased) on 20 December, 1941; married Arnold Ashurst, 9, April 1992. She is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cleon, William and Seth; sister Catherine Partridge, daughter Mary Catherine Robison, and grandson Travis Coston.
Survivors include sister Joyce Barber and brothers Grant and Zane. Also, her husband Arnold, and children Janet Watts (Richard; Judy Roberts (Allen); Phillip Robison (Roxanne), Eleanor Fuller (Don), Lynn Coston (Roy), Rita Sherman (Larry) and Robert Robison (Ruth). Oleve had 21 grandchildren, and 30 great-grandchildren. She spent most of her life teaching elementary school where her tireless efforts and caring personality guided three generations of students toward a better future. She loved her "purple" glass and spent many hours developing a rare and unique collection of pieces from the early 1900's. She loved gardening and raised beautiful flowers and meticulously maintained her yard. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends.
Services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Olpin Mortuary at 55 West 200 South in Fillmore. Also, a viewing will be held Friday evening from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the same location prior to services. Interment will be in the Fillmore City Cemetery at noon on Saturday under the direction of Olpin Mortuary.
