Ethel Tollefson, 91, of EIeva died Wednesday, October 7, 1987 at the Clairemont Nursing Home, Eau Claire.
She was born November 16, 1891 in Mora, Minn. to Andrew and Ada Emerson Emberson and moved and
moved with her family to the Eleva area as a young girl.
On January 15, 1915, she and George Tollefson were married in Eleva. They farmed near Eleva. He died in December 1966.
She was a member of Eleva Lutheran Church and its organizations.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip and Orville, both of Eleva; three daughters, Margaret Rosecrans of Eau Claire, Doris Sather of Eleva and Alice Ernch of Spokane Wash.; 37 grandchildren; 71 great-grandchildreni, six great-great -grandchildren and a brother, Lawrence Emberson of Eau Claire.
Funeral Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Eleva Lutheran Church,the Rev. James Carlson
officiating. Burial was in Eleva
Cemetery.
