Collie Lee (Starnes) Adams Darwin Bunch was the daughter of Wallace "Buck" Starnes and Narcissa Ann Thomas. She was born on February 14, 1870, in Clay Station, Burleson Co., Texas. She married Walter Franklin Adams on July 1, 1888, in Burleson Co., Texas. Collie Lee and Walter Franklin Adams had a daughter, Blanche Adams, and a son, Wallace Franklin Adams. She married James Darwin before 1900, since she is on the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census, in Temple, Bell Co., Texas, living with her husband, James Darwin. Her mother, Annie Clark, was also living with them on the 1900, 1910, and 1920 census records. On January 5, 1928, she married Allen Clifton Bunch, in Bell Co., Texas.

Collie Lee Bunch died on March 27, 1950, in Temple, Bell Co., Texas, and is buried in the Hillcrest Cemetery, Temple, Bell Co., Texas.
