The daughter of Charley and Rosie (Ridge) Graves, Dessie was born April 21, 1923 in Hugo, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Wright City and enjoyed things such as quilting, crocheting and photography. She loved working with flowers and her dog, "Taco".
She was preceded in death by her husband, Meril Coleman on January 2002; her parents; one sister, Sylvia Morris; one brother, Jay Graves; infant sister, Nettie Charlene Graves.
Dessie leaves to cherish her memory, five daughters and three sons-in-law, Ann Ward of Paris, TX., Peggy Martin of Corona, CA., Faye Nolen and husband, Larry of Paris, TX., Wanda Morris and husband, Ronnie of Wright City, OK., Susan Claborn and husband, Jeff of Wright City, OK.; one son and daughter-in-law, Charley Coleman and wife, Rita of Wright City; two sisters, Marie Harmon of Paris, TX., Virginia Adams of Springtown, TX.; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; several great great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Service:
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the First Assembly of God, Wright City with Bro. Neil Jackson and Bro. Brad Jones officiating.
Cemetery:
Interment will follow in Slater Memorial Cemetery in Wright City.
